About
I'm Jeff Musal, a web developer and thinker living in the Hudson Valley. This site is where I explore the connections between my interests: building things on the web, thinking about AI and its implications, understanding how communications shape culture, and learning how to live well.
The Streams
This site is organized around multiple streams of thinking, each with its own focus:
Writing
Technical deep-dives on web development, explorations of AI and communications, and thought leadership. This is where I share polished ideas and learnings that might be useful to other developers or thinkers in adjacent spaces.
Journal
More personal, stream-of-consciousness reflections. Thoughts on living in the Hudson Valley, gardening, technology and society, and the messy intersections between personal and professional life.
Philosophy
I believe in working in public. This means sharing unfinished thoughts, documenting failures, and learning visibly. It's not about having all the answers—it's about thinking out loud in a way that might be useful or interesting to others on similar journeys.
The site itself is part of this philosophy. I've documented the creation of this site as a meta-exploration of building in public.
